I think of the absolute joy Master J brought & I wouldent change that for the world.
Even in the week I lost Mr N & Master J I would not have changed it for the world because they brought so much love & joy every single day.
Mr n for 20 years & Master J for 2 years.
I miss them every day but that's the price we pay for love.
They were my buddies.
My life is different to many of you.
It has taken me a long time to accept this & I make my joy in different ways.

Hi Dear Beanie I’ve not been on for a while. So sorry to read about your falls. Get all the joy you can from pets. They are so important such good company. I’m a massive pet fan who has never lived a life without a pet. I’m getting a puppy in 4 weeks. I haven’t had a dog for nearly 40 years. Just got to get the cats to like the dog as much as me. But it’s now or never as we’re not getting any younger. Send a picture of the new kitty. Take care xx2025 Decluttering 10472⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I miss having a pet, but right now our lifestyle just isn't right for it - even a cat, in real terms. I wouldn't ask Mum to take responsibility for the care while we're away now because it would just be stressful for her, so that would mean needing to use a cattery for anything over about 48 hours away, and allowing that we do such trips a number of times a year as well as longer holidays it would end up costing a fortune.
We also had a situation some years ago when we introduced new cat to an already resident HRH. New Cat was a small kitten at the time, and while she tolerated him, she really wasn't impressed, and with hindsight I do wonder how much it adversely affected her quality of life - at least for a while. (Similar to what SL's saying about Stealth Cat I guess). Looking back now, I'm not sure I'd do the same thing again, even though at the time rescuing New Cat was the right thing to do.
We can all only make decisions like this based on all the available information that applies to us though can't we - and if the finances add up, then the joy they bring can be immense.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
