My Merrell walking shoes kept my feet surprising dry in a 20 minute walk in the wet this morning - I was pleasantly surprised as it was the first time I've tried them in proper rain, and half expected to get here with at least damp feet.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

So in this weeks news I have left the foodbank.
Another volunteer did not like the way I spoke to them.
Well you know life is too short so it was time to step away.
I know other volunteers are unhappy with my falling.
So we have the end of an era.
I will miss my FB buddy but life goes on.
It has become more stressful & this has not been helped with the PIP situation bubbling on in the background.

Oh beanie! I'm so sorry to hear this - are you sure? One thing that *is* sure, they'll miss you. Unhappy at your falling they may be, but that's not the half of it. What awful news.2023: the year I get to buy a car6

Didn’t like the way you spoke to them 🤬 Unhappy with you falling 🤬 How can these insensitive people justify this behaviour. Angry on your behalf and I’m sorry to hear it’s come to this after all you’re hard work. No point remaining in a stressful situation though especially as you’re not getting paid to put up with it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

I'm sorry your connection with the Food Bank has ended this way Beanie. But maybe it's for the best. I have a good friend who volunteers at our local food bank and she says it's becoming too much for her. It's getting busier and busier and she's wearing herself out. You have to put your health first and, if it's becoming stressful, it's time for a break. There are plenty of other causes that would welcome and appreciate your help.
