Best thing with foodbank is to assume nothing.
Clients sometimes need to be provided with the very basics ie tin openers, pots, crockery & cutlery.
It is no longer the case that food banks have too much of anything
We are struggling every week to provide what our clients need.
Woking people, people on benefits, all kinds of people.
Scary times ahead.
We have had to start an exrta shift to keep up with demand

I was watching something on tv the other day where they reckoned we were one of the 6 wealthiest countries……it’s absolutely criminal that people need food banks and are struggling. You are doing an amazing job Beanie.January spends - £587.585

we used to have to chuck tins out as they were out of date, they should have been donated to a food bank long before they went out of date but some how joined up thinking wasnt used, both Mr El and I got very frustrated and eventually after us asking for months ( since easter) if we could give away the un used easter eggs and constantly being told no then them getting chucked out we had enough and left.
I take my hat off to you Beanie you will be so busy just now xxx5 -
