Going back to your chair.
can you get someone to take a dining chair in there and see if it is useful or a dumping ground before you get a specific one for the bedroom?7 -

Had a flu jag today.
Am pondering the latest COVID vaccine.
A 40 mile round trip & no disabled parking at venue does not appeal.

Exactly my thoughts on the Covid booster. I had my flu one at the GP so why not do the Covid one at the same time. If they’re making getting the booster inaccessible a lot of folks won’t bother. Boots in our city centre is doing them but it’s still a trip out of the way. I’ve been told some local chemists will be doing them but no idea which ones.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Frustrating about the Covid jab. Here they seem to release different venues at different times, so if it's similar in Scotland it might be worth checking at different times. I had mine in town, yet others are saying they are being offered slots miles away so it seems to depend on when they release slots."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". This Covid booster seems to be a c o c k u p country wide.
I went online the first day when appointments for over 75s was available and I got one at my local Community Hospital, great, free parking right outside the door etc. The date as 19th September, as soon as the Queen's funeral as announced I went back online to change the date. By then the first available date as way into the future so I looked if there were any appointments anywhere else.
I found one at a pharmacy in town, not the best of places as it is used by the local druggies to get their Methadone but I could get an appointment on 16th September.
I turned up, no one available to give the jab and a queue in front of me, it turned out some of the queue had phoned in the morning and had been told to turn up at 2 pm, no appointments made.
To cut a long story short it was chaos, but I did get my jab.
It then turned out for some reason the appointments at the Community Hospital were canceled at the last minute some people not being told and the appointments had been altered to the main hospital out of town. So many unhappy people around. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.4 -
Hope you don’t get any side effects. Dh went to a walk in centre a couple of weeks ago had flu and covid together. He started feeling rough with a sore throat and really bad chest. In hindsight not sure if it was connected as he passed it on to me….a streaming cold. Not tested positive- just an old fashioned bad cold….so non the wiser whether he just had a cold or side effects.January spends - £587.584

If he's passed it to you milann it must just have been a cold!
Beanie that does sound crazy about your nearest option for the Covid jab being so far away - I've not looked to book mine yet as being in the non-vulnerable category I rather feel I should give those at more risk the chance to get that and the flu jab first - but I know from others who've booked locally that they're got appointments easily enough in the various places in the town. I do hope you get sorted soon.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
