    Thanks Lucille.

    Decision made.  No chair.
It is such a bummer cos I have a vision of me on comfortable chair sitting next to the radiator with a hot water bottle obviously after I have heated the water with some candles from Ikea that I bought in the 90s (I knew they would be useful eventually)

But the reality is it will be covered with clothes and I will put the guinea pig food on it.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I have a chair in the bedroom - a "dining chair" style one. It can sometimes be a dumping ground, but also gives me somewhere to put my clothes for the next day/hang clothes that I want to air a bit before either wearing again or popping back in the wardrobe, and occasionally put clothes that have come in dry and still need putting away but "I'm not doing that at this time of night"! I originally planned it as somewhere to sit putting shoes on etc when we got the new bed to avoid sitting on the edge of the mattress, but as the shoes generally live next to the bed, I'll leave you to guess how that plan has gone...

Psst - toast is an all year round thing, it's good for the soul!

    Bah,bah,bah.

On that note I am off to bed.
☹ you didn't *listen* to her, did you?  I can't ... I can manage to read about her, but I can' cope with hearing her directly - between the rage and the despair, it does me in.
    Heard her on the news.
