Another day, another dollar.
A strange day.
I have resigned from a volunteering role I have held for for over 25 years after being told you are " a bit of a problem".
I won't go into details but as you can imagine it has been a bit of a day.
I have enough problems in my day to day living without being told that.
Hey ho.
The cats are certainly amoung the pigions as I type!

Oh Beanie, no! Is this the FB? I do hope not - I know what a big part of your life that is. Regardless, I hope it turns out to be just someone speaking from a place of stress/not thinking and it can be apologised for, explained and resolved. Can you escalate if not as that is absolutely no way to be speaking to ANY volunteer in an organisation IMO.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Oh no Beanie. I’m cross on your behalf……how dare somebody speak to you like that. Hopefully the meeting with the CEO will be productive 🤞January spends - £587.587

That’s disgusting 🤬 Whatever happened to being kind. I hope something positive comes out of the meeting.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Oh beanie I'm so sorry! No volunteer should be spoken to like that and I'm so sorry it happened. Hugs to you xxx6
-
Good grief, beanie - astonishing that anyone has the gall to say that to you
I'm glad the CEO has responded so quickly, but really ... appalling that anybody ever said that to you.
