I fell asleep!!!That sounds exactly what you needed. I hope the chair yoga helps too. I'm another who thinks Miss Summer chose you. A long time ago when youngest was a ball of extreme anxiety etc we had an amazing rescue silver tabby who'd been found in a skip. I always thought it was quite unkind that someone at the RSPCA named him Skippy. I've never been a fan of them since they started putting healthy animals to sleep if they weren't rehomed quickly so we always got our cats there to avoid that happeing. As soon as we left there he was named Oliver aka Ollie, Ollie mog and his full name when he was eyeing up the blackbirds and robins. It was before people began talking of assistance animals but he became dds assistance cat. He knew when she she was tossing and turning unable to sleep and would go in her room and either drape himself round her neck or lie alongside her while she tried to read herself to sleep. He never came in my room except when things were really bad and he kmew she needed me. We lost him to a hit and run at the same time we lost Freddie Mercury. Ollie loved Freddie and would sit in front of the tv watching the dvds. We like to imagine him dancing with Freddie in a glittery catsuit - he loved a bit of bling and christmas tree jingle bells. There's a big red jingle bell with his name on I found in the scottish woollen shop when my eldest dd lived in Milton near Aberfoyle. We used to hear him jingling the tree bells and his was at the bottom of the tree so we could hear him giving that a nightly bashing. It hangs on a wall light until December then goes on the tree. He's long gone but never forgotten. As far as I know youngest extremely clinically vulnerable and myself 72 with underlying health conditions with be vaccinated together due to the bubble. Her bf although wfh at present will be vaccinated as will all NHS staff. That's planned to be done over 20 miles away so he's looking into paying for his jab at our pharmacy which is doing the jabs. He's not happy to travel on public transport involving a train , a long walk and then a bus when he's been allowed to work from home since the beginning of March and the three of us have followed the rules througout.Sorry for the long post . Wishing beanie and all here sleep and better weather.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Thanks everyone I sometimes wonder if I witter on too much! All cats bring their own memories for different reasone but Ollie really was the cat of my heart. The area dds bf works in is a trust a long way from here. I've just been watching the NW news and it's near the highest rate of cases in the UK now so not a place to travel to when you've been allowed to work from home to protect the vulnerable. He's not trying to jump queues and is happy to pay for his shot. He's such a good soul and has willingly taken dd into his home to protect her mental wellbeing. She's better with the cats. No cats here at the moment. He's a really good musician and will get a guitar out , make up a silly song and make her laugh. I honestly think although he had a big long awaited promotion to finally do the work he loved he'd resign before he'd do that journey.I love Aberfoyle beanie we used to walk down from Milton to the village and spend time there. I've never seen so much wool under one roof as I did in the scottish wool centre. They sold so many things. Last time I was there they had half price room sprays by Arran Aromatics. I bought Fern and it's Scotland in a bottle. Eldest dd moved to Yorkshire and I was sorry I hadn't bought mre of the Fern sprays. I scoured online but they'd stopped doing Fern. One sniff and it was fern, heather and all the scents we smelled walking up towards the Trossachs. I have a few inches left in the bottle . All these years on it hasn't lost that smell. I have a little sniff every now and then and I'm back there with clear starlit skies , no light pollution and big skies.I've always regretted not moving to Scotland but we wouldn't have had Superdoc fighting youngests corner over the years if I had.I loved Edinburgh and Glasgow . No idea if it's still there but there was a brilliant bookshop on Princes St that sold books really cheaply . I discovered Scottish writers I'd never heard of and read all the autobiographical books by Christine Marion Fraser and others.Only two negative experiences over the years. Eldest taking a short cut with us through the Cowgate as we looked for Greyfriars Bobbys statue. Drunks everywhere one of whom just missed throwing up on my feet- wearing sandals- as I moved to the right pretty sharpish . The other was on the way into Glasgow we stopped at a Tesco to pick up some stuff. Rather than come in with me dd locked the car doors which seemed a bit odd. I asked if she wasn't coming in and she replied I'll stay with the car which seemed a bit odd. Once I was inside two different people with loaded trolleys came running towards me with security running behind them and rushed out of the shop. I left my trolley grabbed the nearest thing paid and make a quick exit. Never ever do that to me again I said. It turned out Tesco was in an infamous area and what I'd seen was par for the course constant shop lifting.Night all lets hope for better days to come and a proper spring for us all.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
