Yes, exactly. The husband of organised lady was delivering during lock down but it wasn't their idea to initiate the FB that isn't a FB.
So while they were happy to help out they didn't want to do it permanently which is fair enough as they do lots of other things. It's going to be interesting to see where it goes. I don't doubt for one minute there are people who need help in the church vicinity but I'm not sure expecting people to travel a good 5 miles is realistic when we're in an area where there are services and other FB's people could tap into much nearer to them. xx

Totally unrealistic to expect people to travel 5 miles I think. But then as you know we are rural & it’s very different. Absolutely, thats a long way.In my town, 35,000 people, there are certainly people who need FB services, but donations run a lot more than locals need. So the FB regularly takes donations to another town (I'm not sure where: the wife of the chairman of the FB was in my walking group back in the day). At least the food gets to people who need it.Beanie, I hope you're well.2023: the year I get to buy a car6

I'm also loving the tales of cats and their gruesome tastes in food 😱🤣. I hate wiggly worms too, my sister has a wormery in her garden and just the thought of it gives me the creeps 😳.
A great bargain on the microwave Beanie 👍. I'd never heard of the rainforest store warehouse either. I'm also interested to hear how you get on with the Lakeside heated airer as I've always hankered after one. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Fascinating how different the food banks are.
I actually quite like worms too. I used to make them gardens to live in when I was a nipper. With moss, stones, soil and even a tub of water to drink from ( if worms do such a thing😂😂) my youngest gdd is just the same too 😀
I hope you feel better soon Beanie and not so stiff and sore 👍January spends - £587.586 -

I hope you feel better soon Beanie and not so stiff and sore 👍My best friend and I used to go round the edges of the playground on a wet day when the worms had moved out onto the tarmac, and put them back on the grass so they didn't get squished.I'd forgotten all about ti til just now, thanks for a nice memory trigger @milannDebt free May 2016...
