beanielou said:Some advice please. Can I add to my paypal balance from my bank account? My incontinence is getting worse & has been since the start of lockdown.Different medication continues to have no impact. Can anyone suggest where to buy cheap but half decent quality joggers for in the house. Easier to dry in winter than jeans. Can’t believe I am writing this. 😓😓
yes you can add to a paypal balance - just link a bank account and add the balance from there. If you sign in and click on 'wallet' at the top of the page you will be able to add a card.
Don't know about joggers but sorry to hear that the incontinence has become worse - yet another 'thing' to deal with. Hugs x6 -
Do you have a Matalan near you. I used to get joggers from there and think I’ll need to look into it again for myself as I’ll need a soft waistband across my tummy. The joys of getting older 🙄 with medical conditions. Not much fun.....but could always be worse 🤔👍January spends - £587.586

Have a look on sports direct. They have 2 pairs womens joggers for £12. Sending hugs xx7

Have you got a decent sized supermarket nearby that sells clothes?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Hi Beanie
I'd have a look in the supermarket as well and you could also look in the PJ section. Some styles look like joggers especially when they're one solid colour and might be even quicker to dry than proper joggers. xx

In Scotland I have DS & my DM.
Technically if we meet we are breaking the law.
But we could go to the pub & meet Joe Random.
I could cry.
If my mum went to England to see her brother ( & SIL) technically she could not see her nephew who lives in the same area. 😕😕😕😕😕Are you in an enhanced household ("bubble") Beanie with either your Mum or DS & his other half? Are they in Scotland too? An enhanced household still = 1 household so can still meet up with another household at the same time.I live on my own and (with their agreement!) am in an "enhanced household" with my brother, his wife and their tiny human and as such we count as 1 household, even after the most recent changes in Scotland. This means we could all (including me) meet up with my SIL's parents and brother (who still lives at home with his parents) within the rules for example (6 adults from 2 households + 1 tiny human (under 12) since we live in Scotland)If you aren't part of an enhanced household we are still allowed to meed up with up to 4 households in a day (just only 2 households at a time).https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-what-you-can-and-cannot-do/pages/seeing-friends-and-family/
Of course that may not help if DS is in one of the areas in Scotland with a stricter rules and rising number of cases or not in Scotland at the moment...

I agree with trying the supermarkets.
I've also got some of these - they are not joggers as such but dry super-fast. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WOMENS-BOOTLEG-TROUSERS-PACK-OF-2-LADIES-BOOTCUT-STRETCHY-PULL-ON-WORK-BOTTOM/301954788179?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
