Southern Electric exit fee
i just moved house and am looking for an energy supplier. The previous tenant had a Southern Electric as a supplier. SE put me on their evergreen standard tariff and I am thinking what to do as their price is expensive.
However, I understand they have an SSE Direct plan, with 12.99p day rate and 6.19p night, but an early termination fee of 30pounds if changed within a year. However, if I move houses earlier than in 1 yr, will I still be charged this exit fee? I read the small print and my understanding is that the exit fee is only if once changes suppliers, but has anyone moved houses and how does this work? Thanks

Moving home is a 'Get out of Jail Free' card so far as Utility Early Termination fee's are concerned0
