    you did right. regardless of who the beneficiary is, a payment that you haven't knowingly authorised should always be disputed.

    If they've failed to inform me that my account might still be at risk then I'll have recourse with them.

    The card may have been cancelled they may still take future payments using your new card by using the Visa Account Updater.

    Thats not something that can be controlled you will just have to keep reporting the disputing transactions. The bank can only inform the merchant they wish to cancel the payments, if they take any notice then thats another issue.

    It wasn't clear from your first and subsequent posts that you'd done this.

    It sounds to me like they have done it without knowing (I could be wrong though).

    I purchased an item from ebay the other day, when making the payment it asked me if I wanted to donate a percentage of my purchase to charity.
