Home Buyers: do online EA put you off buying?

I agree with your comment, we viewed a house and the EA told me it was built in the early 90s, looked on land registry and it was built only 10 yrs ago. EA also made out the vendor wasn't too motivated to move so wouldn't accept anything other than asking but at second viewing, vendor was there and they said different.
I would have no issue with online EAs or being shown around by the vendor. I actually remember viewing one house with the vendor as she used an online agency and she was such a lovely lady that I was gutted I didn't like the house and wouldn't be buying it!0 -
I've just been house hunting. There is a nice looking house on with Tepilo that I would have liked to see. However, the owners weren't around when I visited (170 miles away) last weekend.
I saw another house I liked, with a high street agent.
Had the first one been available to view via an agent - they might have had the sale.
Also in the back of my mind was that my own agent said that on-line agents were a mare to deal with when it comes to chain-chasing.
So, I've offered on the high street one.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0
