Need help with CSS/cookie policy on a new website

Hi all, i'm probably going to sound a bit thick now but here goes..:o

I've set up a website for my business so I can trade online, ive done my shop via a template wth the hosting company so that bit was nice and easy, however I can't get my head around this cookie policy, I have no idea if/what cookies my site uses, whether I need to have the cookie notice thing pop up etc ive tried googling this and im going around in circles!

On my site the only info I will store will be email/address via paypal which is for processing the transactions and getting orders despatched, I do want to have share to fb/twitter/g+ buttons and i read that they use cookies?

and then i need to know how i go about putting this onto my website if i do infact need the cookie policy, my site has a css editor but im pretty clueless with it! when i search for cookie notice css on google i just get loads of websites going on about code like i should know what im doing!

I need a basic walk through of what to do, if anyone can point me in the right direction or a website that might be able to help me id be really grateful!

Thanks :)
