Kids shoes, one week and broken!

I am so mad! bought DS1 new shoes from SportsDirect.com (a store not online) and not even a week later both shoes have broke! The straps cross over and go through a metal ring that has snapped on one and bent on the other.

They fit him fine so there is no undue pressure. They are just a bad design!

And guess what? I binned the receipt and box didn't I? well they fitted fien so I had no need to return them.

Going to email there head office and see what I can do, I paid by Debit Card so they can find my transaction.

Have you tried to take them back to the shop?
Maybe you should do this first and then vent later if you get no joy.

Hi tiamai,

No need to email head office yet, just take the shoes back to the shop along with proof of purchase (a bank statement showing the transaction is more than sufficient) and explain the problem.

Yeah but just noticed it now and the shop is closed so felt the need to vent!

Will take them down tomorrow, just tracked down the item on my statement and double checked when I bought them, the 16th, so one week and one day.

They are lovely trainers too!
