We always quoted 14 days when I worked there up until last year....

current info we are given is 21 working days, thats what MPRC tell us, so thats what we tell the customer. if its quicker than that, great, but if not the customer was informed from the outset.

just go into the store and state that you have been waiting for them to retirn the phone to you within the 14 days as they stated

if they cant return the phone to you within the time period that they hgave stated then you should request your money back under consumer law

I had a problem with my sony ericsson and went into Argos - they sent it to repair and quoted me 14 days. After 20 days I went back and they said I was wrongly informed and that the correct time is 4 weeks. Then after 4 weeks the phone came back - no report about what the fault was and what they have done either. Take the phone home to charge and find out the fault hadn't been fixed - not taking the phone back because I'm not prepared to wait another 4 weeks - I wish I could get my money back..

so something could have been done about it

theres no way it takes 4 weeks to fix any phone
