What a complete waste of money. I thought propaganda on behalf of the government using public money was illegal.
The real joke is my wife's figures don't add up and are not accurate. And they supplied her with correct figures previously.
Can't we start a campaign to get this waste of money abolished - come on Martin!

in what way don't they add up?

'Welfare' contains teachers pensions and child protection! The surprises don't stop there.... See this quick and simple article explaining exactly what Osbourne included in the various categories....

Clapton - very interesting that you chose not to let everybody know this information? But instead focused on a error in an addition calculation on one of the letters.... why is that?
    Peace.

as usual you show your ignorance and lack of understanding

stop making stupid assumptions about things you know nothing about.

my post was about the specific circumstances of that poster : who may or may not choose to pursue the matter but there are specific situations where the two figures provided for 'tax' paid and due are not the same. In these circumstances the poster may be due a tax refund.

Assumptions? I made no assumptions and drew no conclusions... hence asking you a question.

If I wanted to make it clear to somebody I could help them I would consider mentioning that in my initial communication.... but maybe that is insignificant?
    Peace.

Although I beleive the Coalition has made a much better fist of the economy than Labour would ever have done, there is every sign in my view that a Conservative majority in 2015 would be a disaster. This stupid waste of public funds on blatant propoganda is one example of this.
