Terrible service, customer service and no compliance with delivery promise!

I ordered a kettle on the 7th of October and it arrived 13 days later. In their T & C it says can take up to 10 days, it took 13 AND arrived broken.

I took pictures of the broken kettle and sent an email detailing and showing 'All boxed-up' my broken kettle on Monday the 20th of October. I was to replied to with an apology and a promise that a new kettle would be sent out on the Wednesday and that I would get a new tracking number with it.

It is now Monday the 3rd of November and I have still not received a replacement kettle or item tracking number despite numerous enquiring emails about my purchase.

Only recently have I received an email asking me to be patient and that a replacement kettle has been sent in good faith.
I'm still without a kettle after my previous broken was thrown away and have no idea as to when I will legally receive my purchase

This is unacceptable!

If I want a new kettle, I want it now, I don't want to potentially wait for 10 days.


If the kettle didn't work, what was the point of taking a picture of it, that would prove nothing, unless of course the handle was broken off.


That's 5 minutes of my life I will never get back.

Put water in saucepan and heat on hob till boiling

Take chill pill and wait for post

Alternatively get a refund and buy one from tesco or a similar shop where you can take it home with you the same day

The OP could be on a sticky wicket, given that they've now thrown the broken kettle away so can't return it.

They've thrown their old broken kettle away, not the new broken one.
