I am after a tablet for my father in law. He knows nothing about computers so it needs to be very simple to use. Also would like the biggest size possible. Money isn't really an issue if the item meets the requirements. I have an iPad but don't think it would be the best option, pretty sure there's better items on the market

Why do you say the Ipad would be unsuitable? I've found that people who don't have much tech knowledge have little trouble with it.
Failing that, you are probably looking at Android and the Samsung Galaxy tab S 10.5"Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Not as big as some but the Tesco Huddle 2 is fantastic value for money and a great starter tablet.0

Just been looking around as my father is buying my 8 year old son a tablet for Christmas - and have to say price for price, the hudl 2 looks like a cracking buy. Quite tempted to get myself one!0 -
Ipad is expensive, but is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive; Galaxy is up there as well0

I have a hudl2 which is my first tablet and really easy to use. Would recommend it. For the price it is excellent value Your father may need a little help with how to use the wifi and the apps if he hasn't used one before. For example you can view iplayer direct but itvplayer has to be viewed as an app. And if you use google mail, the hudl2 app is not quite the same to navigate as the desktop version. But it is very fast and has a good picture and sound and is excellent value for money.0

Samsung a good choice and price but as has been said iPad is simple.0 -

I don't know about ipads but with the Hudl2 you of course get the google activated voice questions. Works well actually and might do very well for your father.0
