Any Ideas on This Anyone?

Hi all, just wondering if anybody can help me solve a problem with my keyboard which has acquired a mind of it’s own all of a sudden. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

For some reason my keyboard is being horrible and nasty to me and has been now for about 8 days or so. I've had this keyboard for over 18
months and I've never, ever had any problems with it, until now of course. I mean I
hoover the damn thing with those nifty little "Keyboard Hoovers" &
dust it a few times a month (obviously without polish, lol).

The problem is that when I'm typing, just like this post, I look at
the keyboard and not my monitor. I keep forgetting to periodically look
up to make sure all is well, so when I do look up, there's loads of
words with 1 or 2 letters/numbers missing or it hadn't left a space
between words or something annoyingly stupid like that, meaning I have to go through the whole lot to make loads and loads of corrections, which gets extremely tedious the 5,435,644 time, lol.

Even though it's only been happening for about 8 days, I really am at
the point where I could really do with some help. It's doin' me nut
in good style. Whether you believe me or not is up to you, but it has
taken me just under 40 minutes just to write this and I'm quite fast at typing too.

What really gets me is it's not 1 or 2 specific keys or anything like that. It genuinely changes and moves all over my keyboard to whichever key(s) it wants to mess with. When this problem first started, I thought that my keyboard was on it's way
out, but now I'm not so sure. I honestly don't think it’s the keyboard dying purely because of how unbelievably "random" the key problems are.

So if it's not on it's way out, what the flippin' heck is wrong?
I mean half way through writing this post in the forum, I got that 'miffed' with having to mess around, that I opened up MS Word to see if it was any different. I don’t know why, but f or some reason it seems to be working fine in Word. Yet when I’m writing in the forum or even replying to emails in my Hotmail.com account, I just end up with letters missing every 3–6 words. Plus to top it all off, for some stupid reason MS Word keeps underlining pretty much every other word because 1: the keyboard acting up and 2: MS Word wants to change all my perfectly correct spellings to flippin’ yank spellings, which means that writing this has took twice as long as I said before (40 minutes), so I have my fingers, legs, eyes and everything else I can cross, crossed, hoping at least someone can help me out, as spending the best part of an hour & a half typing this out and messing around with spell checkers and everything else that wants to take the mickey out of me is NOT fun anymore :-(

So that lead me to believe that maybe the problem is something to do with typing online. But again I’m not sure, because when I write lets say 7-10 words as the title of a website I want to save in My Favourites, I have no problems with letters not showing. So surely writing a Favourite title in my browser (IE) would be classed as ‘online’ or something, so that would probably knock that one on the head which leaves me fresh out of ideas now. It’s draining the life out of me and driving me up the wall now, BIG TIME! lol.

Plllleeeeeeeeaaaaasssssssssseeeeee I’m begging you, please help me fix this keyboard before I pull my hair out. I really, really like this keyboard too as the keys are really nice and soft, which for me is an ideal keyboard which I genuinely love typing with. But I don’t know how much more of all this I can deal with. I wonder… :-(

Any help really would be greatly and I mean GREATLY appreciated.

Many thanks all!

P.S - Oh yea, can you not copy anymore when writing a post? I mean highlight all of the above, right lick and copy it,then right click and paste it on another forum? I could of sworn a couple of years back you could, as I used to be a member of MSE on an old PC, but wanted a new username :-) If there's a way to copy what you've wrote, please let me know. Thanks All!!!

You could try downloading a new browser to see if the problem persists there. If not then the keyboard is fine then maybe something has happened in the last week or so to your current browser.
