Thanks for that jelly...still waiting for that type of text...although it has reminded me that in my dim and distant past I did once phone my dad from a police station and ask him to come and collect me...
All innocent ...I went there because my bag was stolen and it seemed a good place to head to....but it must have given mum and dad a "moment " when I said hi im calling from the police station..can you come and collect me!
lol… I was also a collectee from the police station!100 -

I haven't done one 3V card. I can't really get excited about 350 points?
I think it's because years ago we used to get thousands of points on a pack of nappies, wine or some H&B and pay pennies with MOC?
Maybe I've just lost my mojo?
me and my dw had a cruise with p&o thanks to mainly these points earlier this year. oh and pre ordering games.
so todays little trip got me £40 towards my next one. ill repeat tomorrow0 -
Thanks NANA and EMMAP. I've been drinking loads of water and Lucozade and have finished all the Potters / Soothers / Lemsip lozenges. I don't think I was meant to have had that many. Oh well.
Can I ask you lovely ladies for some advice. I need to buy 2 presents for 2 managers who made me go for the promotion. I don't know what to buy though. Chocolates are a bit meh so I want to get something else. 1 is 57 and very glamorous and 1 is 49 and even more glamorous. Would buying them perfumes be a bit OTT? Also, what perfume would I get? If I was to get them a skincare / make up gift set, what brand should I be looking at? Could someone kindly advise.
Thing with perfume is they smell different on different people depending on skin temperature etc...
Same with skin care really we all have our personal favourites... And there are so many on the market to choose from...
Maybe a bit boring but ...
Is there a spa/salon nearby where you could get them a voucher for a treatment of there choice???0 -
I've been laughing about this since Tuesday so thought I would share it here
On Monday at work a young lad came for an interview and they took him on. It was some new government scheme where they work for 8 weeks to gain experience and a reference when they're unemployed. It doesn't cost anything to the employer so we've been taking these people on and giving them a chance. So on Tuesday he didn't come in and sent this email
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:This is so funny - the spelling is appalling and who tells their employer who they've only known one day that they have the $h+++ ?!! :rotfl: He came back on Wednesday but now he's decided it's not the job for him and has left. I don't know what these young 'uns are coming to when they don't want to work but they are a source of amusement :rotfl:0 -

Speaking of Orchard, has anyone received their Dairy Ingredients range coupons yet? It starts today, but I've not got mine yet.

Good thinking Batgirl!
Actually, that's a perfect idea. That way they can choose whatever they want. I like your style.
With skincare etc, I wouldn't know what brand to get them. If I asked, they would just point blank refuse.0 -

mimi I think Perfume and skincare is a bit risky as us Women have preferences when it comes to that;)If it were me I would buy them a nice Orchid and a Yankee candle x0 -
