Just out of interest, what does everyone do about printer ink?

Is there a thread on MSE about different ways of going about it... at home refills, packages etc...

Ink seems to be costing me a fortune at the moment been looking into HP's instant ink deal... £7.99 for 300 pages per month.

While looking back I don't know how many pages I print a month, I couldn't even random guess. Maybe 200 - 300 a month. I am having to buy a new cart for both b&w & colour per month even the XL ones it's coming in at around £30 per month.

    Thanks in advance!!

print in black, quickest print where ever possible. staples price match and you can exchange old cartridges to get extra discount.

10 ways posted this earlier (it's old news but relevant to this query)

They tend to be hit and miss depending on the printer you have, mine doesn't seem to do any 'fake carts' :(
