The plaice didn't work:
Vs Morries
1 x ASDA Fish Counter Plaice (230g) £1.00 N/A
But this doesn't mean that it would not work tomorrow:rotfl:!
I suspected this was likely to go N/A and I suspect someone has probably already posted it for me and been trying in vain to draw my attention to it, but I bought it anyway:p. I think it may be because the A one is called "(230g)" and, therefore, appears to be fixed weight, whereas the ones in M are £3.19/kg and may therefore vary in weight. This is even though the offer label describes it as "Whole Plaice". The S/P Whole Chicken by Weight, according to what it says on msm, appears to be fixed weight, as it is described as "(1.3Kg)" and not "(approx. 1.3Kg)" and yet that compared to M whose weights vary and are at £2.59/kg. However, it seems to go by what the actual situation is in A store - i.e. varying weights - rather than what msm, it would appear, says. Or it may just be because they didn't bother to go the Fish Counter and scan the Plaice.
Yet they go to the Meat Counter for M's Yorkshire Ham don't they? These sorts of things were the thinking behind my otherwise decision of madness.
So, my plaice won't taste as nice when I have it tomorrow night!0 -
