Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

I've just done this too :T

Can anyone help, does this need redeeming at all?

    This is on the voucher

    Instructions
Thank you for donating to BBC Children in
    Need via LivingSocial!

But then this is on the voucher too...

I'm having a Savvy moment :A, why would there be a implied expiration date if it does not need to be redeemed?

I also found this a bit confusing. I'm assuming the donation has been made and the other bits on the voucher are just there because their system needs to have something there...

"A Savvy moment":D:D. Well, I'm going to have to look back now and investigate what that means! Just going back to catch up now...:rotfl::laugh:

Loads of people on this thread getting sky movies reduced to £3.50/£5 a month for 3 months

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sky-movies-5-instead-16-50-2052715

Might be of use to folk here (who haven't already agreed a better rate ;))

I think this is like the "Cash value 0.0001p" on money off vouchers and the like, which was there to comply with the Trading Stamps Act 1964 (or, in Northern Ireland:rotfl:, the Trading Stamps Act (Northern Ireland) 1965) - which was repealed (revoked?) several years ago. That did not stop the "Cash value..." thing sometimes appearing on money off vouchers printed in newspapers and magazines for example, even though the Acts specifically excluded "any stamp which forms part of a newspaper or other periodical in which it is contained". "Stamp" meant "stamp, coupon, voucher, token or other device which is redeemable for..." etc. etc.

Sometimes they just include these things as 'boiler-plating', in case the law required it (even in cases where it does not) but just in case, just to ensure legal compliance. I think (and I've not caught up as such but merely seen a brief read of the OP where they were having "a Savvy moment" (whatever one of those is:D)) that may be why there is an expiry date - is it a competition or sales promotion or something where every competition must have a closing date, under one of the clauses in section 8 of the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion?

All this is from memory...so, you can imagine, the odd thing here or there may not be completely exact. Then again I lost almost everyone after the first paragraph:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!

Second thoughts, I think it's possibly just an automatic computer-generated thing (the "Enjoy by..." thing). I wouldn't have thought Children in Need constituted a "sales promotion".

:rotfl: I'm still assuming though, as I've still not gone back and discovered the entirety of what all this on the thread relates to.

It's not a bad idea to ponder or wonder about something though, if that's a "Savvy moment":T:T ... I do that all the time:doh::o:rotfl::rotfl:.

:eek::eek:My PMs? How could you reveal their existence to the public?!? I'm joking!:rotfl::rotfl:

They might get the wrong impression and think there's something going on between us!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Someone will want a 'freedom of information'-style request... to reveal the entire contents of all communications between us.:rotfl:

    Thanks fc.

Ohhh, I've never been to the Ideal Home show... do they have many coupons there please?
I used to go to the BBC Good Food shows years ago back in the good old coupons days. :( Those coupon booklets used to be great.
