He was doing it for the good of the Elite - his contribution to the cause
Actually it was his own fault we had to get Asda value. We had already been into Home Bargain where we normally get bacon.
I loathe the smell of bacon cooking, makes me heave“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

FC not sure how I would take the older man if it was one of my DD's, although saying that there were 10 years difference between my parents and it never noticed they sort of met in the middle, my dad was young at heart and my mum was older in her outlook.0 -

Hi everyone. I have not started on the Quidco Xmas thing yet. Can someone point me to a list of the cheap items to buy please as I need to spend £100 for work at Argos and thought I could then get other bits free with the bonus.
Thanks,
I wasn't going to this but there was a few surprises I wanted for little miss and I got an unexpected cheque this week so thought would go for it.
My two normal use shops were body shop and boots.
I then did BHS- face cloth
Marks - greetings card
Works- greetings card
Homebase -mug
House of Fraser -mug
Matalan - tights
Moonpig- card
I'm up to £25 bonus which is great.
I'm considering the last three. Although will have to spend 40 to get the other £25. I'll figure it out so its worth it x0 -
Socks have always been the bane of my life as well. When they were little I used to sew a different coloured thread into socks - everyone had a colour. When they got older I stopped colour threading them.
I had 3 of them all in black socks, I'd wash them but they were supposed to take it in turns to match the socks up and hang them and the underwear onto a special plastic dryer hanger.
It was always the cause of huge arguments between them as no one wanted to do it. If the wet sock pile was not sorted after 2 days it went back into the next dark wash.
They all insisted that the sock and underwear pile was nothing to do with them. OH was still insisting the pile was nothing to do with him even when everyone left home - I am not sure whose underwear and socks I was washing as he was the only one left!
I also insisted they bring their own washing down to the bathroom - so their bedrooms were always a disgusting mess.
Eldest son when he was at college/work often used to have a once a week clear out so I would end up with an entire line of 14 or 15 identical black t shirts  he had an obsession with black t shirts - I think he had about 40 at the last count!
Washing I never minded doing, hated getting things dried, hated bed changing. It's now 18 months since we have an empty nest and it's still a novelty, I can go for days without running the washing machine :T
2 pairs of knickers - one under and one over the tights to keep them up and stop them rolling downwards
I can empathise with you on the sock front....black socks were the bane of my life for years...as soon as hubbie retired I bought him vibrant coloured socks so pairing up was easy..he now complains when he needs a pair of black socks to go with his suit as he can't find any ! one of my sons is at uni so doesn't wear black socks anymore and the other one is in sixth form so yippee no more black sock mountain to sort :rotfl:0 -

it was my doctor who told me i might have a dust allergy. I thought it could be possible as i was thinking it was pollen as i have hayfever and asthma.
I got a vax hoover with a hepa filter. I never knew how much dust was in our carpet until i saw it.
Not saying anything about you but the inside of your nose must be so swollen. My definately was. Sneezing 40 times a day must be awful.grocery challenge 9.86/600
