Your so lucky:cool: mrsnerf won't leave me incase she gets custody off the boys:eek::eek: and I won't leave her fir the same reason. So we are stuck together :o:D

Lol! My little boys have adjusted very well, the eldest refuses to see or speak to ex. He's so embarrassed about his new gf being 3 yrs older than him:rotfl: plus we all knew her. I on the other hand, am really nice to her. Drives them both potty. Ex doesn't like me being nice. He thinks that somehow means I got over it quickly. I didn't, just no going back so no point being miserable.

I do find his comments like that quite amusing. We were still married when he was dipping his wick elsewhere, yet I am criticised for being friendly:rotfl:

Ahhh, I'm fine thanks. Bit of a shock to discover he was having an affair with someone half his age but I didnt kick up a fuss.(I hit him once, broke three fingers and cracked his jaw but that's it. Not wasting my energy on it) Always said I'd never stay with someone being unfaithful so went to solicitors the same day! It's been a bit rocky but it's pretty amicable now. I've got a lovely new man, just taking it easy and enjoying my new life. Expanded my assets too:rotfl::rotfl:

Must say you sound like you have handled the situation very well, his loss and I am sure he knows it, onwards and upwards glad you have a new man and enjoying life:)

I am trying to gather forumites photo's together to replace the Forum Members Picture thread that was deleted from The Arms.

I have started a chat thread here with details of what my plan is and if you are interested you can post a photo of yourself in that thread and it will be copied and then posted into the actual picture thread once I have enough to get the thread going which will hopefully be quite soon.

There will be sections for males, females, couples and families and there is no problem if you want your picture in more than one section.

There are also plans afoot with Glad to keep the main thread locked so that trouble makers can't cause it to be deleted as happened with the previous thread.

Any questions ask in the chat thread downstairs in The Arms and I will do my best to answer them.

This thread does move along quite rapidly but I'm hoping word about the new picture thread will get around before this post becomes a distant memory :o

    Hi Torbex

Thank you for your post but as my username suggests I like to remain out of the limelight - I suspect most people also try not to link their profile to RL so that they can speak freely.. If I posted a photo I would have to change my username too ;).

Good luck though, others may feel differently.

It was very hard! I wanted to kill him but it would have made me look bad. It's quite funny how I caught him. I gathered my evidence so he couldn't fob me off. Followed them for a few weeks with a tracker, then laid all of my findings out for him to see. His secret credit card account statement (predictable passwords) and copies of hotel bills from abroad with meals for 2. His face was a picture!!

Don't be sorry silly. Just another chapter in my mental life. And by no means the worse. I've used it as an opportunity. I've never had such a busy life. Was fed up of being in on my own so went to the nearest pub. Thought I'd just sit at the bar for a few then go home. Ended up bumping into an old school friend, then being asked for my number by his friend, excused myself to the toilet, snuck out the back door and went home. Met up the next day and that's that. Made some fantastic friends over the last 6 months and not long ago discovered that the landlady is my second cousin! Small world!

And I did the most unsavvy thing ever. I spent a lot of money on me!! Not like he can ask for half of them:rotfl:
