Also OH has his 3Ms card :j
and with it came 4 vouchers - one is useful, just 250 more points on any shop - I wonder if it would work using my card and just buying a banana?
One is for 1500 - £1.50 when you spend £40 - that one would have been useful buying 6 Hardys the other week but I doubt if I will be spending £40 - only valid until 30/11.
2 others are for the 1st 2 weeks in December and I might be able to use both in one shop - 500 bonus for a £15 spend and 250 bonus for buying 10 items
( ;)banana, red onion, brown onion, value water, garlic bread, sweet potato, carrot - and 3 things I actually need“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Good morning all. Been lurking for a couple of days as not had much to say
Thanks Evangeline for the Garnier glitch, got me and dd a moisturiser each. :A
For anyone with a shiny new tassimo - or an old dusty oneWe are finding ourselves holding back from using it as the pods are so expensive. There are 3 of us in the house that like lattes but the posh pods are sooo dear
My usual tightwadness led me to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQz8rmcKCwM I have given it a go and have found that it works well with a large medicine syringe. I used semi skimmed milk with a costa coffee pod the first time and the coffe was a bit bitter for my taste - I like mild and sweetThen I used a costa pod with full fat milk which was much more to my liking. I also added some caramel coffee syrup which we had in anyway and it was lurvely.
I know it is a bit of messing but I dont mind that if it means I can just buy the coffee pods at around £3.50 for 16 rather than £4.50 for 8 of the lattes. You can buy the syrups in the supermarkets or on ebay/amazon and a little goes a long way as they are quite sweet.
I am going to try getting the coffee mate stuff that is in the yutube vid but not sure how available it is in the uk. Am happy to play and try different combos.
Thought I would post in case anyone else fancied giving it a go0 -

Thanks!!
start by getting a mywaitrose card here

Partly answering my own question
Isla Negra Reserva Chardonnay
the price swings up and down but at the mo is down to £4.99 - buy 10 bottles plus £4 of odds and sods take you over the £40 mark, use your £5 helping hand - that make sit about £3.20 a bottle - better than the non existent mystery wines on the Tesco wine shop
mhoc is one of your locals Newcastle under Lyme? (or am I getting confused?) It had loads of the Umber for £3.66 red and white when I was up there other day so works out £2.75 bottle, it was on a separate stand. I did mention other evening.
I chanced my luck this morning popping into the Ts on the way home from dropping DD3 to college and there were 12 bottles of the red sitting on the shelf waiting for me.0 -

Just had a look on mys and its showing as £4.99 with a little star so it must be one they are no longer stocking :j
It depends on which direction we go in but if the glitch/offers etc are exceptional we tend to head Crewe (small piddly store) then Hanley - then its Trent Vale (?) or kidsgrove or Stafford. In the other direction we go to Chester city centre or Sealand or Broughton or even Wrexham.
Northwich we don't go to, unfortunate incident, small car bump on the way back a few years ago and we have never been to Northwich since.
Not that the Tesco offers are much good these days“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I did sort of have you in right area then.
It was Hanley bus station caught my coach from yesterday morning. Have stayed in the premier inn there before and knew there was a Sainsbobs but didn't realise there was an Ts Extra so close by.
It's weird when you don't know an area how you can be so close to something and have no idea, going on the coach made a few connections for me of the area.
DD2 has been working in Stafford last couple of weeks. Think off to Cannock today.0 -

was it the shiny new Premier Inn by the traffic lights?
You honestly did not notice the huge Tesco at the top of the hill ??? One of the biggest in the country it took weeks to fill when it opened
We end up in Stafford at least twice a month - its only 2 junctions on the M6 for us but even better only 20 mins on the train and the Tesco is right near to the station - Stafford is my home town and its :A“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Did anyone do the Dorset tea draw - might have been FB - can anyone remember??? it was for 5000 sample packs.
You had to nominate someone so I nominated my youngest as being the most in need of tea.
my youngest had a WEM yesterday and today his sample pack arrived with 8 tea sachets of all of their varieties, a 50p MOC and it looks like a prize draw entry as well :j“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
