    Just watched Pointless

 There was a contestant called Emma & her Mum she worked in films

Didn't EMMAP recently go to see it?

    :D

I like the way you think... but it wasn't her, she was in the audience and works in TV rather than film. :)

Evening elite, snap I thought the same:D. but think she had an answer that was nirvana, so doubt it was her. Loved the dogs, mine helps with vacuuming like that too:)
I was also watching the de-installation of the poppies and thought oooh wonder which one is PD:)

:rotfl: I was on the first shift and thankfully managed to hide round the back away from the cameras. To be honest it rained so much during those 3 hours that I was well concealed. I prefer to work behind a camera, not in front of it!

Also you'll be please to know I didn't drop or smash any poppies, but I did find a lot of damaged ones, over 100 in fact in such a small section

Just started to experiment :) any tips?

    xxx

I use mine to totally hide all veg from my ds1 and ds2. I blend it raw and add to sauces near the end of cooking to preserve vitamins. I also use mine for fruit and spinach smoothies which are lovely with milk or 1/2 milk 1/2 water. Frozen fruit makes them thicker and more like ice cream. Was watching an add for them and they put broccoli in their smoothie :rotfl:. I'm a bit more traditional ie, berries, bananas etc. I did do an apple with water and that was nice but a tiny bit gritty iykwim. Hth xx

    Evening all :)

OH had an email today from Dyson to say that they will no longer be supporting our DC04 Dyson - so after the start of December they will no longer support it or supply parts

(a bit like windows XP becoming defunct)

OK ours is a bit of a dinosaur - 1990s classic design :D but it still works fine - originally the purple and lime version, bought before the days of buying stuff online and price comparisons etc.

Like everything in our house it has sentimental value - my mum inherited a bit of money so she gave all of us about £100 each - over 10 years ago ...

Anyway I am trying to book a service before we loose support - Freephone number on their website, on hold now for 20 mins, no one answering the phone ....

I have a purple and lime green DC04 too, it was a limited edition back in 1998:o, I need a new hose so think I will book a service, thanks for the info mhoc:)

    The number is 0800 298 0298

it takes ages to get through but they are open until 8.

my appointment is next Wednesday but I suppose it depends on your local engineer

Its £79 and the chap asks what parts you need so the chap can bring them with him

Mine is only 14 years old - 2000 it was bought :D

We also have a DC04, we have the pink and purple one :D Had it 14 years and only had to replace the hose, still going strong :D

    0800 298 0298

that's the service number and its £79 but it will include the cost of any parts that need replacing.

they wont service after the start of December so best to ring them ASAP
