Took DD2's car for MOT this morning, it failed on tyres and they don't keep any in stock.
So had to go off to get some fitted before retest as I am driving it back up to Stoke for her tomorrow.
Tyre place said uneven wear and did I want tracking checked. So said yes and they said it was out so trusted them and paid £32 to get that done on top of tyres.
Went back to our long standing mechanic who said there was no uneven wear so looks like I have been done.
Lesson learnt, will remember to ask him if there is a next time I have to go off for new tyres.
Now have a 8.15 hour coach trip to come back to Poole on Wednesday, only costing £9 so was no question really compared to the train.
Lots of £9 National Express offers if you book at least 3 days in advance at the mo. :T
Oh no,, some places, are terrible for charging extra, I have heard, and ripping you off.
I am hoping ours passes tomorrow, without any hitches.0 -
I'm scratching my head and still trying to figure out if I'm the unluckiest person (on the Dr O pizza promo) going.
Bought a hundred pizzas, 160,000 gift cards to be won, am I doing something wrong when I'm entering my codes?
Law of averages obviously doesn't apply to me :rotfl:
I'm still none the wiser on how you find out if you've won a gift card yetHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

If it had been my car would have waited and got my mechanic to check, we have been with him years and even out socially with him and his wife as we have a mutual friend.
I had already been told he could fit in for retest today if I could get it back certain time and didn't want to bother him with any other work. He is so good and doesn't usually charge us for any diagnostics/minor work.
Usually would have just left car with him for tyres. But he couldn't guarantee would have got done today. Ah well I will know for next time.
Good luck with yours for tomorrow.0 -
Hello

Hey Bubbs
I know, I emailed them to complain and they told me it's really hard to win (you don't say!)
If I had won only one voucher out of the hundred I bought then that would average out to them making 16 million pizzas with the promotion code on them.
I'm sure they have me blacklisted :mad:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Hmm...well as people seem to think it's a regular female, but aren't saying who, I feel like I need to put myself on some sort of list of people who it definitely isn't...I may be weird, a little boring perhaps, and not particularly helpful...but nasty, vindictive or jealous I am not
I have nothing to hide and in fact I'm fairly easily identified if anyone particularly wanted to know about me
I sincerely hope that I'm not on the list of accusees...but if I am then I'm afraid you've made a complete error of judgement
Caught up on thread and saw no one had quoted you.
Don't worry yourself with any list of accusees they are just hearsay .
(((X))) Hope you are ok and not worrying :A.0
