. Are you saying Dove was £1 but shows up a lot more expensive? Please
The dove I bought is priced at £1 instore, the price at a.com and msm hasn't been updated to reflect this. Therefore online orders show the dove at £1, they compare vs M; free bodywash. Prices can update at anytime so best to check online prices before ordering and then all you can do is cross your fingers.
Some of us will more than likely get stung on this one before it ends, so just beware.0 -
No way,, it's really helpful thankyou SSM xx
Can anyone confirm , M&S bank said they would definitely shut my old account on transfer. Is this the case please. Tia xx
Yes, they definitely shut it! Don't know who was saying otherwise as it was made really clear to me when I was on the phone to them, although I don't know why as I've switched before and not had to. I switched last month, got a letter from old bank saying it was shutting account. A credit balance was transferred, all £41 of it! (Thought I should leave something there to look real, lol!) Hth0 -
Just came to post that and it also says

He does read and I am always looking out for suitable books like biographies by climbers etc
Alan Hinkes, '8000m: Climbing the World's Highest Mountains'; Alan was the first Brit to climb all the 8,000 metre peaks - a remarkable achievement
Joe Simpson, 'Touching the Void'; a classic, but he may well have it already?
James Tabor, 'Blind Descent: The Quest to Discover the Deepest Place on Earth; about caving rather than climbing, a gripping account of what cavers put themselves through (literally and metaphorically) to get to 7,208 feet below ground
Christopher MacDougall, 'Born to Run'; about a tribe of Mexican Indians who are the best distance runners in the world'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Downloading the audiobook now will give me something to listen to whilst on nights
Full of incredible characters, amazing athletic achievements, cutting-edge science, and, most of all, pure inspiration, Born to Run is an epic adventure that began with one simple question: Why does my foot hurt? In search of an answer, Christopher McDougall sets off to find a tribe of the worlds greatest distance runners and learn their secrets, and in the process shows us that everything we thought we knew about running is wrong.
Isolated by the most savage terrain in North America, the reclusive Tarahumara Indians of Mexicos deadly Copper Canyons are custodians of a lost art. For centuries they have practiced techniques that allow them to run hundreds of miles without rest and chase down anything from a deer to an Olympic marathoner while enjoying every mile of it. Their superhuman talent is matched by uncanny health and serenity, leaving the Tarahumara immune to the diseases and strife that plague modern existence. With the help of Caballo Blanco, a mysterious loner who lives among the tribe, the author was able not only to uncover the secrets of the Tarahumara but also to find his own inner ultra-athlete, as he trained for the challenge of a lifetime: a fifty-mile race through the heart of Tarahumara country pitting the tribe against an odd band of Americans, including a star ultramarathoner, a beautiful young surfer, and a barefoot wonder.
With a sharp wit and wild exuberance, McDougall takes us from the high-tech science labs at Harvard to the sun-baked valleys and freezing peaks across North America, where ever-growing numbers of ultrarunners are pushing their bodies to the limit, and, finally, to the climactic race in the Copper Canyons. Born to Run is that rare book that will not only engage your mind but inspire your body when you realize that the secret to happiness is right at your feet, and that you, indeed all of us, were born to run. When The Fun Stops Stop0 -

Whoop!
I was actually going to collect a reservation in an hour.
Forget that though, because I've just made a new online reservation and saved £6 (I had to change store though because my local doesn't offer the "Pay & Reserve" option but the store next to my work does :j :j :money:)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
mhoc Superdry do lovely lumberjack style shirts- kinda red check I'm assuming he's after? They are expensive but lovely for a treat. They sometimes do discounts online or you could see if you've got an outlet near you?
Next do the expensive kind, as well - long-sleeved and short-sleeved, different colour patterns'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Hi
Are you have a break from your studies ?
Can I ask you a question.
I have not been to morries to try that M&M have you? Did not think that Scotland would be allowed to cut the overall cost of the alcohol Any idea?
Thanks
Nothing at M&M has appealed to me so far, the only points I've got are from wombles :money:
I think it could work so long as it's not "buy 2 get X points" because the law prohibits mulitibuy discounts on alcohol
You can have offers on single items so long as it runs for 3 days and isn't a ridiculous reduction
Look at it this way....If the final price of an item ends up being cheaper than a competitor's retail price then it's not really that different to A's promise of being 10% cheaperApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

We went to pick up the chicken house this morning. We'd hired a van for it and everything.
We get there, it's effectively on a building site, proper sloshy mud everywhere
And we couldn't get it apart so came away without itI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
