:D I dare you to say the sight of a woman who can handle a chainsaw isn't a turn on :p

well it works for me :p :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

it does attract hairy men though

DS is quite partial to a chainsaw

Picked him up from nursery yesterday, and they gave me some of his work from a few weeks ago (before we went away)

There was an 'autumn story by Mildreds DS' which they had obviously talked about at nursery then typed up to give to the parents

I knew it was 100% DS because of the content. It starts off as quite a nice story about walking through the trees, lots of coloured leaves, a hedgehog etc etc then the bit that gives it away....

''....Daddy started to chop the trees with his chainsaw because they were too big. It started raining so daddy had to stop chopping. He carried on walking through the woods and daddy put his coat on to stop him getting wet.''

I bet none of the other childrens stories featured a chainsaw

The only surprise was that there were no hoovers mentioned :rotfl:

I think that is lovely. He's obviously observant and he obviously loves his Daddy :A ive said it before, it's a hard job you do Mildred being apart from your partner and DS being apart from his Dad. I have a lot of respect for you all. Ive did it and it isn't easy :A

Thanks FC, it is hard sometimes (as you know) but best to just crack on with it. It was harder when he was a baby, but he's just an ace little companion now :T

I consider myself lucky to be honest, there's plenty who have it much much worse :A

I won't be here tomorrow at 11am. I'll be paying my respects elsewhere. Might I suggest a 2 minute posting 'silence' that way you can pay your respects wherever you are. it really doesn't matter where you are. Those 2 minutes spent reflecting are important and I personally hope they never get forgotten. 2 minutes out of a day is doable for everyone. Let's silence the elite for 2 minutes at 11am tomorrow
