Peppa pig laptop £5.00 INSTORE @ Tesco Longton

Morrisons v Sada
The default shop - things with bonus points and also match points
No idea much about bonus points or match points this week - I deliberately tried to overlook them as I would have become distracted and not got much at all done. I saw some products in the frozen veg. area with "extra points" I think - but the fairly small labels sticking out didn't say how many. Helpful(!) I think I saw an item at quite high price that may be good to compare vs T - but can't remember where I saw it now or what it was:rotfl:.
M vs A would include things like those Nescafe Cafe Menu products (make sure you get a comparable version) £2.99 vs £1 A, Crisp n Dry 2 Litre Veg Oil but lose 20p as T and S currently £2 and therefore Avs T or Avs S would be £1.80. Savers Brown Bread 720g and Savers Medium Sliced White Bread 720g should compare vs very slightly cheaper at A.
Danone Yoghurts (4x110g) £2.19 M vs £1 A (again, must ensure that you get a correct exact same version) - but pretty expensive IMO anyway - S/P 4 pack yoghurts 33p and Mullers individuals far cheaper elsewhere - making £1 on a 4 pack of yoghurts seem very expensive.
Ruddy Clover/Clover Light 1Kg:mad: - how much they have lost on A wombles! - M £3.70 vs A £2.00, but quite poor muggles A price on those. I go quite below £2 for 1Kg these days.
Hollands 4 pack frozen pies might still have extra points, and be Mvs A. Again, check carefully exactly which ones A has at £2 and the weights to make sure you don't lose out. However, I didn't really like these pies the last time I bought them.
Dolmio Lasagne Kit (807g) - has that had a downsizing? - sure I was writing that much higher weighted earlier in the year - M £3.00 vs A £2.00, but lose another 20p or so again compared to it going to £1.99 in M and then Avs M 10% cheaper. Amoy Thai Curry thing if that still has extra points.
 Cheerios 600g M £3.19 vs A £1.58 (a bit higher than my 20p/100g price but still...).
Fray Bentos 475g pies £2.00 vs £1.00 (check exact ones).
Galaxy Smooth Milk Chocolate Bar 390g £3.00 vs £2.00 but lose 20p as is also £2 in T at the moment and therefore Avs T would be £1.80 net. Lose even more as I've switched to S/P Choc Bars, much cheaper than the branded versions and good enough for me!
Terry's Milk Choc Orange (175g) £2.75 vs £1 but lose another 10p as is £1 in other competitors of A at the moment and therefore 90p net on APG vs them, also Superdrug went to 75p some time before, so lost 25p rather than 10p and big glitch in T on these quite a while back so may as well have lost their entire cost!:rotfl:
Do check in the morning that A hasn't suddenly increased prices on the Cafe Menus (or the Danones, or anything else)! They have a habit of doing that sometimes, in order perhaps to catch the weekend shoppers.
I was thinking Mr T, sorry. Pretty useless items there anyway - Matlows Chew Chew (210g - was 240g some years ago) £2.00 M vs £1.00 T, Cadbury Heroes (350g box:laugh:) vs £2 T - sorry not sure how much they are in M but more expensive than £2 - maybe full price £4? Worse price (per g.) than the 720g tins in any event. Same for Quality Street 350g. Johnsons Extra Sensitive Wipes (56) £1.79 M vs 89p T. Also some "Kool n Soothe" (their description) products - Migraine Sheets (4) £3.29 vs £1.65 T (but I notice they are available in A anyway and thus Avs T). Soft Gel Sheets (4) probably £2.65 or something like that vs T £1.35. But on 2 for £4 in M - no need to hit that; indeed would probably be better to miss the mbuy and just compare one (if it all). I told you pretty useless.0 -

Oh tiger how lovely. I'll be sure to come back with lots of recommendations for you :money:shirley999 wrote: »Haha! You pushed me into it! My son took me to Reykjavik (Bay of smoke) for 4 days at the end of August - it was a surprise where he was taking me until we were inside the airport. We did the Blue Lagoon on the way from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik and it was amazing. Day 2 we wandered round the sights of Reykjavik. Day 3 the Golden Circle Tour and Day 4 relaxing, if you can call it that, just walking aimlessly around Reykjavik. We walked alongside the runway and were right at the start of the runway as a plane landed over our heads ... well we had been waiting quite some time for it lol.
I won't go into detail because you will probably have done your own research but I wouldn't have done anything differently. One day I would like to go back at the right time of year for the Northern Lights.
Enjoy yourself.
Brilliant, I'll be saving notes and recommendations from you both :T We go 18th Jan and so far I've just got the flights, hotel and resorthoppa bus transfers booked... Mum has been shopping already for furry hats :rotfl:Tiger
