Haha! You pushed me into it! My son took me to Reykjavik (Bay of smoke) for 4 days at the end of August - it was a surprise where he was taking me until we were inside the airport. We did the Blue Lagoon on the way from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik and it was amazing. Day 2 we wandered round the sights of Reykjavik. Day 3 the Golden Circle Tour and Day 4 relaxing, if you can call it that, just walking aimlessly around Reykjavik. We walked alongside the runway and were right at the start of the runway as a plane landed over our heads ... well we had been waiting quite some time for it lol.

I won't go into detail because you will probably have done your own research but I wouldn't have done anything differently. One day I would like to go back at the right time of year for the Northern Lights.
