oooh I feel he is going to get some ribbing when he gets home

Bless him, he clearly either wants to impress or worse.

So the first question is how old is he chronologically and emotionally!!

Secondly the same question about the girlfriend!

Ds is 16 almost 17...I assume Megan to be a similar age...he hasnt mentioned her so I guess its a blossoming romance....
Whatever happened to dating,is it too cold and wet at the moment or is staying in the new going out!

the conversation in the car on the way home from school this evening should prove interesting!

Hi MUM.... can you and dad go out tomorrow evening??. Megan is coming round and I want to cook her tea.

that raises a couple of questions from me...namely...just where has he learnt to cook, why arn't dad and I allowed to sample this cullinary delight...who's shopping for said tea ....will they do the washing up...and who the hell is Megan?????

You should be banned from MSE :mad:

The correct questions are " are you paying for our night out ?" and " did you use vouchers and/or cashback and groupon ?" "is it cheaper to knit a baby hat or buy one ?"

good afternoon all hope everyone is well,
had a bad morning, heard the ducks going mad outside and noisy crows and thought the crows were mobbing ducks for food, went out and found what I thought was a buzzard on one of my ducks shouted to scare it of but it flow at me, I realized it was a hawk and had jesses on, managed to scare it of but poor Elvis, our favourite duck was dead:(:( the hawk sat 6ft away from me , scared me to bits, :o:o
phoned oh he offered to come home but i put duck in box in greenhouse to bury later and caught the rest of the ducks and put them in the polytunnel, oh has told me not to leave the house until he gets home ;)

Good afternoon, rhos that is so sad, only natural for the bird but such a shock for you, hope oh catches it as it prob wont survive on its own.:)

I'm trying to figure out if its an incredibly brave idea for a first date ....or he's just too tight to take the girl out!

clearly things are very different now from when I was anywhere near the dating scene at that age....if I had thought I was going to have to meet the parents I would have run a mile!

They are only young, and really what can they do/go. They are too old for youth clubs, too young for pubs, so it leaves the cinema/bowling/nandos type eatery which costs a fortune. I think he is sensible (but stock the bathroom cupboard up just in case he is not that sensible, I am assuming you are not ready to be grandparents!!! ooh come to think of it, I would pay for them to go to nandos he is not sensible he is 17!)
