Afternoon peeps.
Wont let me post links for some reason!!!
Hello Scamps, how are you?'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
Hi, how many shops have you done now please and what is your total spend!TIA
are you anywhere near the £100 total required to get the £50 bonus!:D
I've done 5 shops now, 50p Halloween chocs from Matalan, and 5 baby vests £5.50 from BHS have all tracked (so a £9 spend for 4 shops). Have also spent £15 at Body Shop (£30 but used the £15 code on the quidco site) but this hasn't tracked yet. Not sure if that's because I got free delivery for having a LYB card. Will chase it up in a few days. This was items I needed anyway. So hopefully 5 shops and a £24 spend.0 -

They piggy back off the EE network so have very good UK coverage.
EE is rubbish coverage where I live. My (freebie) Tmobile contract is just about to end. I used to be on Vodafone PAYG, but go slightly over the 500mb data.
I really need to find something from Vodafone or piggy backing on to it if you have any iddeas pretty please? I know Sainsbobs does and I have a free one month top up for that.I've always had iPhones too; great pieces of kit, the only thing is their price tag. £500+/£600+ for the latest iPhone 6/6 Plus is just wrong.
I've owned an iPhone 4 and 5s; but I wanted a change. You hear all the talk about Apple vs Android so I did a bit of research. One thing that amused me was this:
But then that got me thinking; I was umming and ahhing for a few weeks; should I make the jump to Android? If so, which phone? Lots of different ones to choose from...
When the deal came up last week for a new HTC One M8 (comparable to the latest iPhones in terms of specs) with a price tag of £289 vs £500, I just had to get it.
So glad I did. :T
It's a great phone; build quality is amazing, speakers are fantastic, screen is sharp with great resolution, battery life is better etc.
I guess it's all a matter of preference and your needs; just bear in mind that there are plenty of great phones out there at cheaper prices.
Now get that box open TS and start using the phone! It's no good sitting in the box doing nowt. :rotfl: First priority, downloading CoS, Shopitize, direct links to Quidco CS and this thread.
I've always been an android girl. Iphones look nice but seem so overpriced for the specs. I like that you can stick a micro SD card in an android phone for extra memory as I take loads of photos.
I have an old HTC Desire which I love but it wont work with MSL sadly.
I love the look of the M8... still too much money for me unless I could find a good contract deal for one?"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

Also TS and for anyone else...
...The People's Operator are another UK mobile network that piggy back off EE too.
You can get unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 3GB of data (more than enough for an average user) for £14.99 on a 30-day rolling contract.
However, currently they have a promotion whereby the first 2 months costs £4.49 per month AND you can get £12 cashback via TCB/Quidco.
They'll also give 10% of your monthly payment to a charity of your choice.
More information here: www.thepeoplesoperator.com/
Virgin Mobile offers: store.virginmedia.com/virgin-media-mobile/sim-only/pay-monthly-sim.html
I am with them at the moment - if you are referred by someone they get a free month on their contract too (plus TCB).

PAYG vs contract is personal preference and dependent on your individual requirements.
I am not a fan of being tied in to a 1 or 2 year contract. Who knows; there may be an amazing offer on in the future or even a glitch that would work out significantly cheaper (T-Mobile had a SIM only glitch several months ago).
It sounds as though you don't want to be committed to a long term contract? If that's the case, then 30-day rolling contracts would suit you best. All you do is give the company a one month warning and your contract ends at the end of the month. No cancellation fees.
Best SIM only deal I can think of for you at this moment in time would be Virgin Mobile. They piggy back off the EE network so have very good UK coverage.
You can get 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data on a 30 day rolling contract for £12 per month. Unfortunately, there are no cashback offers.
However, Virgin are VERY easy to haggle with. So after having had the SIM for 3 months, give them a call saying you want your PAC code (a code that allows you to transfer your mobile number to another provider i.e. you're leaving them). They'll transfer you to their retentions team who will knock the above package down to £5-£7 per month. I can (almost) guarantee this will be the case.
I have done this for both my Mum and boyfriend, my Mum pays £5 per month and my boyfriend initially paid £7 per month. I then phoned again 2 months later and got his down to £5 per month.
Thanks very much for this karlie :beer:
I had the above deal with virgin on mine and o/h's mobile but was paying £8 a month for each.
I've just phoned them up and they have reduced both to £5. :j:jN1LDA0 -
