Big Switch if already with Scottish Power?

This seems an obvious question for some people to be asking but can't find anything on MSE or the web so here goes.

I'm already with Scottish Power for my sins and have early exit fees on my current tariff. The long fix offered by Scottish Power for the Big Switch looks attractive so I was wondering if I will be charged the early exit fees if I switch via the MSE Big Switch. Has anyone investigated this? I know it is a question for SP and I will ask them but wondered if it's already been asked (with more than one response?).

I was planning to switch from SP almost on principle at the end of my current tariff as they were so awful when I last switched tariff with them and so hard to get hold of; this was all around the time of their new billing system. Furthermore their response to my complaint about the process was very poor. If MSE are giving them a chance I was wondering if I would too.

Anyway, anyone asked the question on early exit fees?

Phil
