I have been sent a letter saying i need to go to a work interview , although i have not been to a medical or sent the question form yet.So will be no medical

In principle, ESA do not need to send you to a medical - they can grant either group without.
They cannot refuse your claim without.
However - it is usual for a work focussed interview - WFI to occur before the assessment.
The person doing the WFI will have little to no information on you beforehand.
It is a 15 minute or so interview to see if there is any training or other things you could be offered that would help you be more likely to get into work.
You do need to turn up - or get them to defer it if it's impossible to get to.0
