Painful joints - Yumove and/or Green Leaf

My Jorgie (Jack Russell Corgi mix) developed sore joints (primarily hips) not long ago. We took him to the vet who diagnosed arthritis. After 2 weeks on Rimadryl, he is undergoing hydrotherapy. I asked the physiotherapist about any supplements she would recommend and she said other clients have used Yumove with great results. We also had a dog walking friend whose English Bull cross did really well on Denes Greenleaf tablets.
My question is, whether I can give my furry baby both supplements. I had initially put him on the Greenleaf for 2 weeks and he started improving, even his grey eyebrows started to revert to black again. I want the best healing and relief for him so if the ingredients don't clash, I wouldn't mind putting him on both supplements.
Here are the ingredients of each supplement, respectively:
Denes Green Leaf tablets:
Nettle Powder 41.0mg
Ferrous Sulphate 32.0mg
Yumove tablets (for dogs):
Each tablet contains:
Glucosamine HCl 250.0mg
Green Lipped Mussel 150.0mg
Hyaluronic Acid 1.5mg
Manganese 3.0mg
Vitamin C 12.5mg
Vitamin E 0.5mg
I stopped the Green Leaf last week and put him on Yumove instead but it's early days yet so haven't noticed any difference.
Many thanks.

I used Yumove for my dog for over a year. It appeared to help only very slightly so I've now got her on Metacam.
The difference is amazing. She is nearly 12 and was struggling with her mobility but now she's like a puppy again.
I wish I'd just gone straight on the Metacam instead of messing around with supplements.
Any reason your dog can't try Metacam, OP?0 -
I'd have thought both would be OK, what does your vet think?
This website is a fab read on arthritis and supplements/other treatments

I also have heard amazing things about Turmeric as a supplement - if you're on Facebook, look up the group 'Turmeric User Group'. I've recently made up the Golden paste for my nan, who was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in her hips, and she says it has been helping. She's limited in what pain relief she can have due to stomach issues, so can't have the usual anti-inflammatories, but Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties (as well as lowering blood pressure, which will help my nan out as well)0
