I took delivery of a car two weeks ago but only got my hands on the V5C yesterday. So today is the first day I’ve attempted to drive it and I happened to find a small chip / crack in the windscreen. When we were going to claim for the OH's, dummy quotes varied from no increase to very little i.e. Under a fiver. £360 claim, the ones that did go up could even have been due to general changes in insurance costs since we took out the policy.

On my own car last March, I got a windscreen fitted for £120.

I'd get some quotes then see where I was going from there.
