Who is the best all round supplier for electricity?
I am moving into a new house, I have no idea who the current owners get their electric from.
First time buyer so no previous bills, no switching etc.
Thanks

Folks - moved into a new house and need to sign up to electricity supplier. Not sure who the previous owners were with.
In our last house we had keypad, but not in this one. Would probably prefer keypad, Can it be installed for free?
Who can do this and who is the best supplier for key pad customers?
If I can't get a keypad, then who should I turn to for monthly direct debit...
Thanks0 -
NIE put in the key pad meters .It should be done for free .
Any provider NI power ,budget ect can arrange this for you ,or you can contact NIE and then pick your provider .
The only thing I would say on keypad is how do you intend to top up .
If its over the phone or internet fine if its in a shop check the local shop does your provider .

In the attached garage then! So how do you know when it's running low, you wouldn't hear it outside or in garage?0

you may well hear it .I know I do and mine is in the gable wall outside .Nothing to stop YOU drilling a hole in the wall and putting the keypad inside if its near the house wall but NIE wont do it for you ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
Thanks for help. Is a keypad generally preferred?0

it really is a matter of choice . I moved house last year and I used keypad for the first time ,I wouldn't go back to the direct debit system .With keypad it is easier to keep check of your useage and no surprise bills."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
