Recently acquired a Laserjet 2300dtn off ebay. Great printer, but I am trying to work out how to switch off automatic duplexing. It takes every page and runs it through twice which is a waste of time unless we want duplex. Does the same thing even if I send a test print from Notepad. But it doesnt do it if I send a testprint from the Printer Settings dialogue box

Try start, settings, printers and faxes. Right click on the printer name and choose Properties.
The default settings are all under there and you should be able to untick Duplex
Hope that helpsNewlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0
