Forward them to your new email address?

Forward them to your new email address?

Thanks. I wondered if there was an easier way than forwarding each individual email. Blueyonder was my main email addy for years so I have orders etc in folders that I would like to keep as a record.

Why don't you carry on using Thunderbird, you can set up a gmail account in it and that way you will have both your old and new emails.

Tools - accounts setting - account actions - new account, fill in the gmail details - get from gmail.

On gmail turn on pop3. I think there is an option to send all past emails there to you when you turn on pop3.

You will then have your old and new on Tbird.

When your other email stops just tell Tbird to stop going to collect emails from it.

    What aerostar said.

All you are doing is setting up a new account and removing an old one. All your emails in any local folders will remain where they are.
