  • Thanks so much for your advice, I will do and take pictures of the signs which were 'clearly displayed at the entrance' and me and my daughter both coincidently didn't see

I don't think there's any close tie between the local Argos store and G24 to the point of any inter-agency comparison of notes. You could say your dead great-grandmother was driving - would make no difference. Contracts will be exchanged at corporate/regional level, so local managers will play no high-level part in these.

But you can bet your bottom dollar they can have an influence in getting PCNs cancelled.

Go in there and create verbal mayhem, especially if other customers are within earshot! All good for potential sales with Christmas looming!

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Thanks everyone for your help! I went to complain and they rang up G24 (using a number we did not have on the letter) and they cancelled the letter. Apparently workers get charged too but once again thank you everyone!

Proof again that 'complaining' works. I suspect Coupon-mad will be putting your thread in her Complaints Hall of Fame.

    Well done OP :)

Yep just seen this, well done for getting it sorted. Complaining almost always works! I will add your thread link here in post #2 in a minute, for others to see:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
