Well today hubby and I sat down and worked out all finances including what childcare cost we will need come June with 2 children to pay for!
We have given ourselves a challenge of paying off santander by august and then also trying to settle the lower 2 creditors by august also. All this alongside trying to pay of a huge chunk of the holiday.
I'm sure we can do it we just need to be so careful with money which is not that easy with Xmas coming up and large families! My family are rather easily please so may be home making gifts for them
THis year!
Also make another 10.00 today selling items

Well it's been a while since I have been on here. Lots of spends unfortunately
with birthdays and a few naughty takeaways
but back on track now. Just found out that baby number 2 is a boy so we have the dilemma of what to do with the hoards of baby girl clothes in the attic!
We would both love a number 3 but financially that won't be for 3-4 years. Very tempted to sell majority of clothes to fund purchasing of boy clothes and then if/when we get to no 3 ( and be debt free) re buy what we need then.
what does everyone think? X
It's only the clothes as everything else was brought neutral! XCreditor 1- 1173.10/1023 Creditor 2- 1218.82/1058 Creditor 3- 4071.33/ 3941

Selling the baby clothes you have would be a good idea. You could keep a few nicer bits and pieces for memories/another child. If you sell the items on e b of a, you could then use the sales money you get in your ppal account to buy new baby stuff from e b of a.. therefore helping you to stay in budget?

Keep going, you are doing well!

Hellooo hope everyone had a lovely christmas.
I have been busy busy busy worrying out new baby's room and de cluttering
I managed to sell lots of items just before Xmas and with Xmas money have 600 pound in our ' penny' pot - need to get down the bank and pop this in
Also managed to get a furniture set for baby's room for 150 and a mattress cheap in the mamas and papas sale.
I did hot the sales and brought about 70 worry if bits for daughter and new baby but don't think we now need anything else till he arrives
Managed to take advantage of ebay free listing and have listed 37 items it's free listing till the 6th so hoping to list more and see what happens.
Payed another 250 off Santander and another payment off each of the other debts so on the right track. Still have not paid any of holiday yet though
