I'm 45 and have recently discovered Molton Brown and Yankee candles. If your mum likes anything like this, you're definately going to earn brownie points!

My sis and I bought my mum a voucher from a local masseur for Xmas a while back. She was chuffed.
Maybe theatre tokens, if she likes that sort of thing?0 -
What I did for my Mum was make her a hamper (basket bought from charity shop). I filled it with her favourite sweets, lots of mini bath and shower treats (try superdrug for these or BodyCare), a cd of seventies music (or choose your Mum's favourite era, I got my cd in the co-op for 2.99 but Tesco do cheap cd's too), a voucher for a facial at the local college beauty therapy department (4 pounds), new slippers (primark) and a bottle of Shloer (she's allergic to alcohol). I arranged it all in the basket and wrapped it with cellophane. She loved it and it didn't cost me much.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0
