Having issued against Barclays, a defence was subsequently filed with the Court, although not served upon myself. The service of a defence is not optional and I provided Barclays with an extension of time within which to rectify the breach or I would make an application to strike out the defence.
The time passed without response from Barclays and I have made the application and await the hearing date from the Court. I'll report on the progress of this matter.
I was wondering whether this omission occurs frequently, with a particular interest in claims involving Barclays. Any similar stories ?
Cheers
