PC repair, manchester

I replaced the fan on my PC last week and since then have not been able to get any life out of it. Does anybody know any good PC repair shops in Manchester? (preferably south Manchester)

Many thanks

Spot On Computers have a repair desk. They're on Waterloo Road (near Strangeways Prison). Phone No: 0870 112 1954.

There's also Micro Direct (think they have a repair desk). They're on Upper Brook Street (near all the Car Dealerships - Jaguar, BMW - I think!. Phone No: 0870 44 22 233.

Hope this helps. Good Luck :)

I was in Microdirect last week and heard them turning away a potential customer as they had too much work on.

Intellect Computers on the A6 in Stockport claim to do computer repairs. I've never had any dealings with them, but they've been around for a while. They're on 429-9911.

    I hope that helps

when you put the fan on did you take the processor off carefully or did it just pull off when you took the fan off as it maybe that you have damaged the processor it is easily done if you don't undo the screws around the processor...I would have a look at the pins under the processor to see if any are damaged...if this is the case you'll need a new processor
