I have been keeping an eye on dell outlet for a desktop for few days and today I managed to grab what I think is a great deal. It is supposed to be ( scratched and dented ) but when I checked order progress on the link they supplied I see that the system being built and will be delivered after two weeks!! Is this normal? I thought the system is already built and already scratched!. By the way I would like to know what people think of the deal....xps 8700 system, Intel i7 4770 processor (3.9 ghz) 16 GB Ram, 2 TB hard drive+32 GB SSD, Radeon HD R9 270 GDDR5 2GB graphic card, bluray drive and 1 Year Next Day In-Home Service with Premium Phone Support all for £640 including delivery

This laptop was from the Dell outlet. It was despatched from some Eastern European country and took around ten days to get here. It is/was in absolutely mint condition.0

I have used Dell Outlet on several occasions for business and personal laptops. I have always been very happy with the product and price. There was always something extra in the box too, like spare batteries or a case. I think if the original purchaser ordered accessories, you get them thrown in.0

I have used Dell outlet a couple of times for laptops without any issues. The first laptop I had the hard drive failed, within the warranty period. On contacting Dell they had someone come out to replace the drive and reinstall the original software for me. It took a few days though as it was around the Christmas period. But no issues and as you say you get some bargains. It is worth just checking the outlet site regularly as the machines on offer do vary and come in and out of stock.

Thank you..I agree on regular checking on their site as I have been keeping an eye for few days..they tend to release stock in the afternoons and the good ones disappear immediately..I reckon mine will have cost over £900 new so good saving. I noticed that the equivalent new system from their website comes with return to base cover while the one I bought comes with next day in home service which is even better0

My current Inspiron laptop came from the Dell outlet and has turned out to be one of the best bargains I've ever had. What's even better was that when I had a problem (a set-up issue, nothing too serious) the support was first rate.0

I've bought quite a few PC's from the Dell outlet over the years, the PC's are usually in as new condition and a good bargain compared to the new price. I find the scratch and dent PC's a good buy as the damage is usually very minor but are cheaper yet than the other outlet PC's.
The last one I bought from the Outlet was a scratch and dent XPS 8700 with almost exactly the same spec (bar a GeForce 660 instead of an R9 270), the scratch and dent mark was a very slight kink in the side panel which as usual was hard to find.
