I have made a mistake and purchased airline tickets for myself and wife and want to cancel these and get a refund.
What is the best way incurring the least fees.
I have taken out cancellation insurance so that may help, is their a cooling off period with these products.
I am sorry i dont know much about this subject so all help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks.

Could you be a bit more forthcoming please? One thing we don't like is having to ask multiple questions to get basic information. And writing in proper sentences is also appreciated.
1) Who did you buy from - give us the URL (use spaces instead of dots)?
2) What airline is it?
3) What type of fare is it?
And tell us anything else that may be relevant.
Your insurance is very unlikely to cover you for change of mind.0 -
have you read what the cancellation insurance covers? it is likely to be medical conditions etc rather than change of mind
What are the fare rules of the ticket...if they are fully refundable then you just cancel and get a refund (these are the most expensive fares)
If they are non-refundable then you may be able to claim some of the taxes back and you lose the rest (or claim off the insurance if the reason to cancel is covered)
Some airlines will allow you to cancel for free within 24 hours if you booked direct with them but you have not given enough details0 -
They have changed the time by a few hours, not sure if that would count0

since yesterday?
if the times have changes significantly the airline should give you the option to accept the changes or have a refund
what airline?
what time change?
what options have you been given re the change?0 -
Anybody got any teeth to pull?0

I suspect the company in question is Svenska Resegruppen, who operate a number of websites, but in any case it's the fare rules that really matter.
But unless you can really give some more detail as others have asked, you're going to struggle to get any advice. Beginning to suspect you have non-refundable tickets...0
