Hi moved into house and this had a cctv camera at the side of front door facing down our drive. Can be seen AND NOT not hidden
its only a cheap camera[black and white ] and gives good picture to drive and front door.
however the range also covers the bottom of the next doors drive is there any requirements which means i have to resite it as after over 10 years our not so friendly neighbours have just seen it there and amade a bit of a fuss.

You're within your rights it appears
http://ico.org.uk/Global/faqs/cctv
but you can be right in the wrong wayI guess they might claim their right to private life, though if the space covered is visible from the public highway maybe not. Either way by the time you and they are thinking in those terms you've both gone too far.
This isn't about legality. It's about relations with your neighbours. How important is this to you, and how bad is the fight likely to be. Any chance of talking to them, hey even showing the field of view?0 -
I thought that was a dummy camera at your house!
see , problem solved.0 -
Your neighbours are idiots to complain about free surveillance of their drive. Maybe this would dawn on them if someone were to throw flour at their door in the small hours .......0

You can point your cameras anywhere in the UK as the paparasi know.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0
