Hi exel, it is already happening now the statutory order to amend the Consumer Credit Act to allow electronic signature and give them the same treatment in a court of law as a signed by hand agreement is in place. Honest. google "electronic signatures credit" or "electronic signatures consumer" clicking on the uk only button. James0

Oh yes they do !!
Yes, verification can take place on line by the CRA, but that works for the minority rather than majority and is there to establish your ID for fraud purposes and to check your history. That does not mean acceptance for ANY card.
You will still have to sign and submit a signed copy of the Credit Agreement before a card will be issued as it forms part of the contract between you and them. Without it, you have no contract and NO card.
This is incorrect, electronic signatures where you tick the box to agree to T & C's are now available with some CC companies0 -
